Msme Team Scheme

Empowering Businesses, Connecting Opportunities

The Trade Enablement and Marketing (TEAM) Scheme is an initiative of the *Ministry of MSME, implemented by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), to accelerate the digital transformation of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). The scheme aims to onboard 5 lakh MSEs, with 50% of the beneficiaries being women-owned enterprises, onto the **Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC)*, enabling them to expand their market reach and increase business opportunities.

The scheme provides support for digital onboarding, e-commerce enablement, product cataloguing, seller registration, capacity building, and handholding assistance through registered Seller Network Participants (SNPs).

It helps enterprises establish an online presence, improve branding, access customers across India, and become export-ready through digital commerce platforms. (ONDC | Open Network for Digital Commerce)

Eligible enterprises must have a valid Udyam Registration, should not already be registered as sellers on ONDC, and should not have availed similar ONDC support from another government initiative. The scheme has an outlay of ₹277.35 crore and is planned for FY 2024-25 to FY 2026-27. (ONDC | Open Network for Digital Commerce)

Overall, the TEAM Scheme promotes digitization, formalization, market access, competitiveness, and sustainable growth of Indian MSMEs, enabling them to leverage the rapidly expanding digital commerce ecosystem and contribute to the country’s economic development.
